We decide to built a user friendly website, where we collected this information into one simple-to-use and (we hope) interesting website. Most important information on this site is historical population data. Census.gov provide historical (and many more) information, but settlement population data older than 1980 we have only in scanned or printed version of census. Those numbers are re-typed, so here few typing error may appear. Some of them are from other books with numbers rounded to thousands. Few missing data is from Wikipedia.
